If you are interested for SSS loan, then you must remember that you have first to know if you finished the minimum requirement of number of payments of remittances that you already made to the Social Security System. This is the first and most important part because this is also where your loan will depend if you can make one or not especially if this is the first time that you will make a loan.
The minimum requirement though is for a member to have at least 36 payments before he or she can make a loan from the SSS. 36 payments is equivalent to 3 years remittance while being a member of this institution of the government. If you only lack a month of remittance, then you can be reconsidered for a loan. If you have an outstanding balance from a previous loan, you cannot make a follow up second loan. You have to finish paying the full amount before you can make another one.

I did a apply my 2nd salary loan on line, and I was notified that it is now approved and it even has a check no. generated on Aug. 3. But my question is – how and where do I claim the check? — ron
