The ID capture machine of most SSS branches are already either out of service or no longer working. With this situation, it made it very hard for most SSS members looking to apply for a SSS ID. That is, because most of the time, they had to sacrifice 1 day just to fall in line to the main branch because it is only there that you can be guaranteed to have ID capturing machines to accommodate your SSS ID application.
If this situation will continue, members of the Social Security System in the Philippines will have a hard time getting their own ID. Another problem that I think must be addressed is the problem of issuing the said SSS ID. It sometimes takes years before these ID’s come to the mailing address provided by members. I hope the local government of the Philippines will be able to give a concrete solution to this problem.

I Ronie Guillermo from isabela all i can say is mabagal po ang processo ng releasing of unified id….madmi n pong nangangailangan nito…specially those going abroad..kaya dapat pong gawan ng ating goverment ng solution para mapadali ang processo…kc imagine it takes a month bago nila ito i release……goverment of the phillipines GISING…..pero pag ang usapan ay about s BONUS ng mga empleyadoo ng sss specially those in higher position madali lang nilang iprocess ang pagbbigay bonus…..anu b nmn,Do your part nmn…nakakainis n kc ang ngyayari….sna wish ko lang magawa ng nio ang inyong responsibilities…ndi ba kayo nahihiya when u receive your salary eh happy kayo pero ndi nio nmn ngagawa ang responsibility nio….

Magloloan ako dapat s SSS,ilang beses n lagi nagpupunta ang k opismate ko SSS to submit my requirements.Then suddenly sinabi TEMPORARY NUMBER KO S SSS,dati ako volunteered sa SSS nagyun hindi n kasi my employer n ako.HIningan ako ng NSO PHOTO COPY, pina photocopy ko BLACK and WHITE ayaw niyo tanggapin kasi malabo.Gusto nyo colored photo copy.Kinabukasan pinadala ko sa k opismate ko nag aayus ng SSS namin sa LOAN ang mga requirements ng SSS,katulad ng colored photo copy ng NSO at VALID Id’s.agad agad sinabi nila hindi nila tatanggapin para s LOAN ko, hinihingian nila ako ng baptismal certificate.BAKIT? katunayan n nga ang NSO at ORIGINAL COPY nito tapos ung two valid id’s ko.BAKIT GANITO ANG SISTEMA NYO? dapat SINABI NYO S MGA TAO my TEMPORARY NUMBER para maayus ng maaga,AT BAKIT MY TEMPORARY NUMBER? ask ko lang sana status ng SSS ID ko? nagchange status kc ako last JULY 20,2011 till now la parin ung new ID ko. dapat pala di ko muna sinurrender
yung old ID ko para nagagamit ko pa. SSS officials la ba kayo magagawa regarding sa mga case namin na ganito? Di bale sana kung libre ung ID pupwedde pa kaso I’ve paid PHP300 for my new ID. Settle na kami ng pampanga ngayong march, baka di ko na talaga mareceive ung ID ko sayang talaga dapat di na lang ako nagpakuha ulit.

I have been waiting for my SSS ID since October 2010 how come it hasn’t been delivered yet? Dalawang christmas n nagdaan pero wala parin I’m not sure how you’re office work but I am hoping that you work out on this isssue ASAP. Applying for and getting an SSS ID ( Social Security System ID Card) can be easy and at the same time very tiring and frustrating. Some people get lucky why applying for an SSS ID while others are not.
Here’s a short tutorial on how to apply for and get an SSS ID:
1. Download the E-6 form from the SSS website. Click on Forms at the left navigation pane. Then select E-6 from the list. Or click here for the direct link: E6 Form. Print then fill up the information needed.
2. Click on Employment History at the left panel. You will be shown a list of all your employers, past and present. Copy the employer number of your company into the form.
3. Click SSS ID Clearance at the left panel. If the note says “Member Qualified for an SSS ID Card”, then you are cleared and eligible to apply for the ID. Print this page. Just click the File menu of the browser, then Print.
4. Go to the SSS Office. Tell the guard you already have an SSS number, the E-6 form and the ID Clearance and that you are applying for the ID. He should give you a priority for your picture to be taken.
5. Get in line at the SSS ID section and get your picture taken. Present two IDs from the list stated at the 2nd page of the E-6 form. If you have your company ID and an ATM card with your complete name, then you should be fine.
6. You’re done. Just wait for the SSS ID to be mailed at your home or office address. Or you can get the SSS ID at the SSS Main Office.

Same case for me and my husband. My husband applied for his ID while i applied for replacement (change status) on the same date last April 2010 and until now, no mail has arrived for us both..Sana naman the government could take an immediate action into this matter..SSS ID is one of the valid ID’s accepted by most establishments, companies..etc..i am currently unemployed (housewife) but still have plans of working again..but i’m having a hardtime attaining 2 valid ID’s. I only have my postal ID and some do not even consider this as a valid one..for reasons i don’t know why..eh governmet given ID din naman sila..So if only they could provide us our SSS ID’s immediately, it would be easier for us to apply or use it as purposed..Sa’n napupunta funds ng government?? ID machines lang di makapag-provide!

There is a way though where you can get a temporary ID especially if you are going abroad and it is part of the requirements before you get hired. Go to the SSS main branch (not sure if this is allowed in other branches) and ask for the details on how you can be issued a temporary but valid SSS ID.

I am Carlito T. Cavite I am residing in the province of Zamboanga del Norte i was formerly working in a big plant which process coconut copra for more than 25 years. Presently, I working in Davao City same plant but other owner. My problem was last April 24, 2009 i have apply another SS ID in Dipolog City, until this time i have not receive my SS ID, The problem according to SSS employee before that my SS ID was still for follow up. Presently my wife again follow up it up and the SSS personel in Dipolog City the ID was still recapture.
Why is it that this kind of reason which I can accep there reason. I Hope that this matter will be taken into consideration since I am still paying my SSS prenium. Thanks more power.

I agree. I have applied for my replacement ID card last June 2010 and until now I haven’t receive it. I remember when I first applied for an SS ID card it took 11 months before it arrived in the mail. What a shame! Damn those SSS officials!
